JOB SUMMARY:
Performs duties collecting real estate valuation data and valuing residential property for the preparation of the tax roll for the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser (HCPA).
Work is performed under general supervision with limited latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment based on professional education and previous experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify for this position, an individual would have a combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience equivalent to what is described below.
Successful completion of International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) Course 101; OR Licensed Residential Appraisal Course AB-I; OR equivalent appraisal coursework from an accredited appraisal education provider (e.g., McKissock, Appraisal Institute, or other nationally recognized appraisal education provider), including coursework comparable to Basic Appraisal Principles and Basic Appraisal Procedures, is required.
